Covered Bridges

Manchester Covered Bridge

Built in 1914. and 49 feet long, the bridge is now by-passed by Sharon Township Road 3, just south of Olive Green, off State Route 78.

In bottom photo is a picture of the Huffman Covered Bridge, which was 50 feet long and also built in 1914. On June 27, 1998 the Huffman Covered Bridge was destroyed in a devastating storm & flood. To the right of that photo are the names of six Noble County residents who tragically lost their lives that same day. Noble County Tourism dedicates this section of our website to their memory (photos by Jim Langston)
